Royal
Drug Research Laboratory is the principal organization for evaluation
and research of drugs as per drug act 2035. It is the National drug
control laboratory of the Nepal. It was started in 1993 under department
of the drug Administration.
- To carry
out the quality control of drugs received from the department
of the Drug Administration.
- To promote
opinion and views about efficacy, safety and quality of the drugs
by performing quality control test on pre and post marketed drugs.
- Analysis
of drugs before permission for marketing, quality survey of market
sample.
- Quality auditing
of quality control laboratory of pharmaceutical industries.
- GLP training
for local pharmaceutical industries and laboratories.
