Library under Institute of Medicine was started since 1978; previously
it was known as Central Campus Library, IOM that was established
from 1972. This Library is also the depository center of WHO publications.
- To facilitate
the teaching learning activities of different programs conducted
by Institute of Medicine.
- To provide
health related materials and create an appropriate environment
for the users.
- To provide
current health information using online services of medline, healthnet
and other health related websites.
- Procure and
technical process of books, journals, WHO publication, and other
teaching learning materials.
- Recording
the books and journals using ISIS and PMS software
- Collecting
an over due fees.
- Preparing
library rules and regulation according to the need, through the
Library committee
